Cover / profile set for truck tyre repair in shoulder area.

Intended Use

Set of covers used during professional tyre repair process. It is designed to guarantee optimum pressure during the hot vulcanising repair process for truck tyres in the shoulder area.

Application

This element is an additional accessory designed for INVENTO thermopresses.

Installation

Top heater (external). The smaller piece is grooved-milled for the heater and presses against the side member.

Material

Using the profile made of aluminium provides good heat conduction over the entire surface of the heating element and uniform temperature distribution in the repair area.

Advantages:

• low mass to volume / size of the die ratio; relatively high mechanical strength;
• corrosion resistance – thanks to a spontaneous reaction occurring on the outer layer of aluminium when comes into contact with atmospheric oxygen, it is covered with a thin layer of Al2O3 oxide, which effectively blocks the access of oxygen to the material inside, becoming a self-contained corrosion protection;
• excellent heat conductivity.
