Detailed description
INVENTO XV 450 wheel aligner is advanced model in the INVENTO range for use with either a scissor or four-post lift. The automatic camera movement allows for comfortable work with the lift and additionally, does not require the intervention of a mechanic. 3D technology guarantees fast and accurate measurement of vehicle geometry and offers a number of procedures not available with CCD technology.
3D Technology
The device uses the latest geometry measurement technology – 3D measurement. It makes performing the measurement much faster compared to a traditional device. Convenience, speed, repeatability of measurements – these are the most important advantages of this technology.
The high-resolution cameras enable continuous observation of the arrangement of the squares on the reflectors so that the results are accurate and continuously updated.
Passive targets
No electrical equipment on wheels, no cables or signal between heads and the device – special plastic targets. This avoids costly calibrations or repairs in case the heads fall. The absence of problems with battery charging or lack of signal is an important element of operating convenience.
Automatic camera height adjustment
The cameras continuously track the position of the targets and automatically follow up and down when the vehicle changes height.
Diagrams of control points
The database contains diagrams of control points, facilitating the daily operation of the device.
Vehicle condition report
Enables a report to be drawn up on the condition of the vehicle when it is taken into the workshop. The report allows you to check and list the condition of the tyres and their wear, the state of the suspension, etc.
Adjustment with raised suspension
The software allows you to “freeze” the results for the duration of the lift and perform the standard adjustment procedure with the already lifted vehicle. This procedure is particularly helpful in cases where the adjustment requires lifting the vehicle which would normally cause a change in the results.
Adjustment without wheel
This feature allows you to adjust angles with the wheel removed. This feature facilitates on hard-to-reach suspensions.
Such operation is possible using special adapters (optional).
Adjustment of the trolley/slides
Special procedure for easy adjustment, moving the trolley under the engine.
Alignment with the wheels turned
Facilitates alignment on cars with an adjusting rod in the upper suspension section.
VW procedure – changing toe curve
Allows alignment for vehicles with front multi suspension arm. Measures the toe of each wheel as the suspension travels up and down (compression and expansion of the springs).
For the measurement, a special beam with adapters (optional) is required.
4-point wheel clamps 10”-24”
Convenient handles with a wide clamping range allow comfortable and quick operation. Allows carrying out runout compensation by rolling the vehicle. The rotatable handle ends facilitate matching to the type of wheel.
